Interview

Very poor experience. I applied for a position and had a phone interview scheduled. I waited and hour and a half and received no phone call. When trying to become into contact with them, I finally discovered that my interviewer had either quit or been fired, and even so no one followed upward to inform me. If I hadn't been persistent in trying to contact them, I probably would have never heard back at all. They also sent me emails that were supposed to go to someone else, and no one could explain how they ended upward in my inbox. Totally cluttered and unorganized. All of the positions I had applied to were filled in the meantime every bit this fiasco was unfolding.

I applied online.   I interviewed at Minnesota Reading Corps

Interview

The interview process was quick. Applied online and got screened for 30 mins two days later. I was told I passed and would hear about placements the following week and didn't. I let information technology wait out only decided to contact the recruiter myself, as two weeks since the expected placement date was soon. I called the same recruiter i had interviewed with and they had NO Idea who I was and claimed there was no record of my thirty minute screening. Evidently this is not something that happened in my head?! Nosotros went on talking and they told me they would telephone call me dorsum promptly subsequently calling my placement schoolhouse for an interview. It has evidently not happened. I've heard so many good things about the corps but is this what they represent as an system? Disappointed and really surprised that I was treated like this at such an organization.

I practical online, and so had an in-person interview for my first year, which included talking nigh reading, children and my experiences with both. One time I was selected by Reading Corps to be a tutor I was then interviewed by a schoolhouse I wanted to work at. Considering I was only willing to work at one school (where my children nourish) it was a simple procedure. I know other members have had the risk to interview at different schools and choose where they work. Brief telephone interviews were conducted each subsequent year.
